The Call To Respond

At Charlotte Re-Entry Initiative (“CRI’), we envision a time when all disconnected people of Charlotte County, Florida have access to the necessary social and spiritual resources and services to return to the community as successful, contributing citizens.

CRI began in 2018 as an all volunteer, faith based project to address the needs for successful reintegration of individuals being released from incarceration at the Charlotte County Jail. CRI has now  expanded to include programs at both theCharlotte County Jail, Charlotte Correctional Institution (State prison), and community mentoring to ex-offenders, recovering addicts, and the homeless.

We are joyous of the positive impact we have made in the lives of our clients and students. Although victories are hard fought and intermittent, we have witnessed lasting transformation in lives of those who we serve and partner with, Our success stories include successful reintegration into the community with housing, training, and jobs.
